Each February or March, TSNW sponsors a snowshoeing trip for its members. This takes place on the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday in March. It’s a popular activity and fills up quickly so early registration is essential as bus transport, summit passes and snowshoe rentals are provided. There is a nominal fee to help cover the cost of these items.
TSNW provides bus transportation through Beeline Bus services, which meets at the Mercer Island Park and Ride 8000 N. Mercer Way, Mercer Island leaving promptly at 8am. Please be early so as not to be left behind. The intention is to be on the slopes at 10am. Members may drive and are asked to meet us at the summit by 9:45.
TSNW covers the cost of the bus transportation, the passes, and snowshoe rental. Members need to dress warmly and in layers, bring food and water to nourish you throughout the day.
The bus returns at approximately 4pm at the Park and Ride.
